Insight Programmes.

Online, self-paced Insight Programmes

Kristy Holdsworth: The Professional Survivor® Insight Programmes explore domestic abuse through a professional lens.

Designed for Survivors, Advocates and Organisations, each pathway offers education exploring the experiences, barriers and complexities that can arise when domestic abuse intersects with professional identity.

For Survivors:  Private, self-paced learning designed to validate experiences, increase awareness and challenge the shame that can accompany domestic abuse - particularly when your life may still appear successful or functional from the outside.

For Advocates: A nuanced perspective on the experiences and barriers Professional Survivors may encounter, supporting greater recognition and understanding within practice.

For Organisations: Education to support greater recognition and understanding of domestic abuse within professional workforces - including when an employee may continue to perform, lead and appear highly capable.

One framework. Three pathways.

Each pathway is underpinned by The VAL Framework™- Validation, Awareness and Learning, the signature framework of Kristy Holdsworth: The Professional Survivor®.

It provides a structure for exploring experience, developing understanding and considering what that learning might mean in practice.

I’m Kristy Holdsworth, founder of Kristy Holdsworth: The Professional Survivor®, a UKCP Trainee Integrative Psychotherapist and experienced education professional.

I bring almost two decades of experience in education, including teaching and curriculum development, alongside four years of professional training in integrative psychotherapy.

I founded Kristy Holdsworth: The Professional Survivor® to develop education exploring domestic abuse through a professional lens - with a particular interest in the intersection between domestic abuse, professional identity and the barriers experienced by those in professional roles.

About Me

My interests combine education and psychotherapy, with a focus on developing greater understanding of the nuanced ways domestic abuse can intersect with professional life, identity and perceived capability.

Ultimately, Kristy Holdsworth: The Professional Survivor® aims to foster spaces where people feel seen, understood and less alone - without having to set aside their professional identity in order to have their experiences recognised.
